CRT-160 Exam Tips
The Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) test is held all over the United States to evaluate the students’ academic progress and read their mindset about college and career options. It helps the candidates determine which career path to choose. It also aids in career counseling and college acceptance into fields of preference. SBAC ensures that the students are ready for higher education. The exam aids in the enhancement of one’s skill set applying for college and prepare the applicants for professional-level education. The SBAC test is the key to a successful college experience. With this exam, the candidates will be well prepared to achieve the best scores on the day they appear for the test.
The SBAC test provides the individuals with a number of exam questions matching the academic standards from 3th to 8th grades and then for high school students in two subjects: English and Mathematics. The structure and outline for the exam remain the same with variations depending on the academic year and the intellectual level of students. This exam is divided into three different parts:
- Grades 3-5
- Grades 6-8
- High School (9-12)
Since the SBAC test is a computer-based exam, all the sections of the test, and namely Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science require the students to type up their answers on the keyboard. It is necessary for the candidates to be acquainted with the letters and the assembly of numbers and various function keys on the keyboard to type up short answers required in the exam. For younger, primary grade students, typing fast and efficiently can be challenging. So, exposure to typing during class can be beneficial for you and help you save time during the test.
Analytical skills of the candidates are examined using technology-enhanced questions that detect their intellect. The students need to learn a special skill set that teaches them techniques and tips for manipulation of the mouse to perform different tech-specific operations. The SBAC test requires its applicants to perform a number of different tasks to assess their computer handling skills like drag and drop, highlight, fill text in boxes of a table, select and deselect, use pop up and drop down menus, activate videos, and use online calculators for mathematical operations.
